During the 2021-2022 school year, the first priority of Ruffing Montessori School will always be to ensure the health and safety of our entire community—students, families, faculty and staff—as much as possible. While we cannot eliminate the risk of COVID-19, the steps we take as a community to decrease that risk will allow us to maximize Montessori learning.
Decisions in the methods and procedures for opening our school are based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Ohio Department of Health (ODH), the Cuyahoga County Board of Health (CCBH), the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Ruffing Montessori School Parent Task Force. Guidance from these groups is subject to updates. If and when the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic change, our procedures may also change.
Below you will find Ruffing’s current plans for returning to school in Fall 2021.
